To serve each person in Cache County, protect the public health, sustain and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Logan and Cache County.
About the Logan City Environmental Department
From residential & commercial refuse collection to the mosquito abatement program, the Logan City Environmental Department has been providing a variety of services for residents of Cache County since 1971. (Please use the links to the left to explore our department and services).
The Logan City Environmental Department is continually working on developing innovative ways to help ensure a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable future for the residents of Cache County. We can create a higher quality of life for our children and generations to come through conserving resources and reducing pollution in our community. We provide service to 19 incorporated cities in the county which covers residential, industrial and commercial solid waste. We also offer recycling and green waste collection programs throughout the valley. In addition to these services we provide wastewater treatment & wastewater pretreatment programs to Logan and several of the neighboring cities surrounding. In 2007 the Logan City forestry division was placed under the supervision of the environmental department.
