A total of 49 full-time Fire Department employees operate out of two stations.

We have four engines (pumpers), one aerial ladder truck, two brush trucks, two paramedic rescue
squads, five ambulances, one 2300 gallon water tender (tanker), two aircraft firefighting units,
and a hazardous materials and technical rescue truck.

The average response time of the Logan Fire Department is 4 minutes, 33 seconds on medical
emergencies and 5 minutes, 31 seconds on fire calls.

The Logan Fire Department also protects the cities of River Heights, Providence, and the areas of
College/Young Ward and Logan Canyon.

The Logan Fire Department can provide a free smoke or carbon monoxide detector to any Logan
citizens who are elderly, disabled, or low income.
