Refrigerator Conservation Programs
Do you have an old freezer or second refrigerator in working condition that is wasting space and energy? Are you a Logan City Light and Power customer? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you may be eligible to have your appliance picked up for FREE. Call (435) 716-9792 with questions and to schedule your appointment today.
Please note, the following terms and conditions apply:
- Qualifying Appliances: Refrigerators must be a “second” refrigerator in the home. Homes with only one refrigerator do not qualify for the incentive. All freezers qualify for the incentive. Refrigerators must be larger than 10 ft3 and smaller than 30ft3.
- Program Availability: This program is limited to funding available. Customers will be served on a first come, first served basis. Program may be canceled at any time at the sole discretion of Logan City.
- Eligible Customers: Any Logan City Light and Power RESIDENTIAL customer is eligible to take advantage of the refrigerator collection program.
- RULES: Units must be in working condition and plugged in to verify working status. The refrigerator must be clean and empty. You must provide clear and safe access to your appliance(s) for the removal team. They will not risk injury or be able to move personal effects or modify your home (e.g.: remove door or railings) to remove the unit(s). Logan City pays for disposal fees for your appliance. There is no financial compensation (incentive/rebate) for disposing of used refrigerators and freezers, however Logan City will pay for the disposal cost of the unit collected.
