Steep Dugway Closed

The steep dugway connecting 600 East and Canyon Road will be closed today from 9 AM - 2 PM for survey crews.

The Street Division works as quickly and efficiently as possible to clean up leaves before the snow flies. There is not a schedule for Leaf Cleanup.

Road Closure

The steep dugway (600 East between 400 North and Canyon Road) will be closed September 16-26. The Logan City Street Department will be installing curb & gutter, storm drainage, and crosswalks to tie in the new trail.

2014 Chip & Seal

The 2014 Chip & Seal program will run from June 30th through August 1st. For more information on this program and to see which roads are scheduled to be completed, view the Chip & Seal page.

2014 Spring Cleanup

The 2014 Spring Cleanup of yard waste will begin on Monday, April 14, 2014. Specifics on the program can be found on the Streets Department page.

Road Closure: Intersection of Center Street and 500 East

The intersection of Center Street and 500 East will be closed beginning November 11th and remain closed for approximately 3 weeks. The closure is due to the construction of water system upgrades. Affected drivers are encouraged to use 100 North as an alternate route.

Road Closure: Oct 28 - Nov 28 (Approximately)

600 West from 600 North to 1000 North will be closed beginning the week of October 28 until approximately the end of November. The closure is due to the replacement of a water main. Affected drivers are encouraged to use the new 1000 West corridor instead.

2013 Leaf Cleanup

The 2013 Leaf Cleanup is now underway. The Street Division will vacuum up loose leaves that have been raked into a "windrow" along the edge of the gutter. Once this process has been completed, the Street Division will collect bagged leaves that have been placed in the same area. Bag leaves whenever possible, and please do not push leaves into the gutter.

Top Of Utah Marathon & Road Construction Limited Access

This Saturday, September 21st, roadway access to the area known as "The Island" will be extremely limited due to road construction and the route of the Top Of Utah Marathon. The only access during the race will be along "the dugway" (600 East). This will begin at 9:00 am. Here is the route for the Top Of Utah Marathon in relation to the affected area.


All traffic from River Heights and Cliffside will be forced to use the dugway during the marathon.
