Police Adminstration Services Division
The Administrative Services Division’s (ASD) contribution to the community begins by accurately collecting and disseminating information for the purpose of public safety and records managements.
The Administrative Services Division provides support for the Investigation and Patrol Divisions in the Logan City Police Department. ASD has five full-time officers assigned to the division; the Assistant Chief heads the division, one Lieutenant, one Sergeant, a Court Bailiff and two Evidence Technicians, as well as four full time data entry clerks. ASD manages the release of police department records, storage and security of all evidence, court security for Logan Municipal Court (LMC), warrant and subpoena service on all outstanding warrants from LMC, and fleet management for the police department.
ASD is the first point of contact for citizens to obtain information pertaining to an incident in which they have been involved in. Records requests and a variety of other first-class city services are available at the police department by contacting 716-9300 for non-emergency questions.
