Home Government City Council S. Eugene Needham
S. Eugene Needham
Inheriting S. E. Needham Jewelers from his parents, Gene worked in the jewelry business for forty years. In 1975, he expanded the Book Table and moved it in 1989 to its present location. He is retired from the jewelry and book stores, but has an art gallery, Logan Fine Art. Gene has also been active in real estate, in apartment rentals, as well as home and commercial remodel. He has served eight years on Logan's School Board, four years on the Utah Arts Council, and was one of the founding members of the Alliance for the Visual Arts.
Gene has had a life-time appreciation of Logan. He recognizes a deterioration in many of the older residential neighborhoods and would actively seek solutions. He has been a booster of the down-town. He sees the downtown representative of traditional Logan to the rest of the State and nation.
