Keith Schnare
My name is Jon Keith Schnare. Born in Iowa and raised in a rural suburb of Chicago. Moved west to attend Oregon State U. Earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees. My wife Bonnie, (born and raised in Logan) and I moved to Logan in 1985 while I was working for the US Forest Service.
My work experience falls into 8 of the twelve Logan City departments. As an engineer/forester I have a sound environmental and technical background in engineering, building regulations, roads, and water and sewer systems. As an EEO counselor I understand human resource rules. As a rural development specialist, provided budget input, determined program goals, reviewed progress, and completion of grant projects to towns and counties in 5 western states.
