Flooding Updates
The potential for the Logan River to reach flood stage is high this spring due to the large amount of snow pack in the mountains. The City is working with homeowners along the Logan River to help determine the best way to protect their properties.
The National Weather Service Hydrologist, Brian McInerney is providing regular updates to the public, City Employees, and Emergency Personnel regarding flow levels on the Logan River.
We have created a Logan River flooding situation website to help keep residents informed about the Logan River flows and to provide information, including reports from Brian McInerney. The public can access this information at http://flood.loganutah.org.
We ask residents to use caution when around the Logan River as the water is swift, high, cold and potentially dangerous.
