Lynn and Merle Olsen Park - Olsen Corner

Park Type: Pocket

Park Location: Canyon Road & Center Street

Park History: The well-known home where college and pro football greats Phil and Merlin Olsen grew up was donated to the City after the death of their mother, Merle Olsen, in 2007. The home was razed by City crews on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. The park was formally dedicated on Monday, June 21, 2010.
