Second Dam Park

Park Location: 3670 East US 89
Park History: Second Dam is a well-known recreation site tucked right up against the dramatic mountain land-scape in Logan Canyon. The land for Second Dam is owned by the Forest Service. The Logan City Parks and Recreation department maintains the lawn and bathroom amenities. The Parks Department also built and maintains a bridge that crosses over the Logan River and connects the parking lot to the River Trail. The Forest Service has provided multiple day use areas, each complete with a fire pit and picnic tables. Second Dam Park is a great place for fishing, starting a trail run, or having a picnic.
