Rules For City Parks
- Confetti, piñatas and water balloons are not allowed in city parks.
- The use of loud speakers, public address systems, or amplified music (portable stereos) is prohibited without prior permission of the Parks Superintendent.
- City ordinance dictates that all parks close at dusk.
- Drinking fountains are the only water source available in city parks.
- Please do not remove tables from reservable areas.
- Vehicles are restricted to designated parking areas only. Vehicles on the grass will be cited.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed on park property.
- No smoking permitted on park property. Logan City Ordinance 07-06
- No littering. Leave areas in good, clean condition.
- No domestic pets allowed unless posted otherwise. (News Release)
- No weapons or firearms allowed on park property.
- Sports should be played in designated, unreserved areas only.
- Use of metal detectors in city parks is prohibited.
- Do not use barbecue units on park picnic tables.
- Portable fire pits are prohibited.
- No soliciting, sale of merchandise, tickets, or services permitted on park property.
Ball fields and play areas are open to the public and can be used on a first come first served basis. Organized city leagues have preference over use of the ball fields. All trash must be bagged and placed in trash receptacles. User will be billed for additional fees if area is left unsatisfactorily. Every reasonable effort is made to make sure the area is cleaned prior to your reservation, however, the reservation fee guarantees only that the area is available for your event.
