General Services Include:
Street Maintenance
The maintenance of streets within Logan City is done through construction of new roadways as well as maintenance and patching of existing roadways. We also maintain the shoulders of the roads and mow them when needed. Some of the biggest maintenance projects include our annual Chip and Seal and Snow Removal. We also sweep all streets.
Concrete Maintenance
We maintain all of the sidewalk and curb and gutter along city streets, as well as install new sidewalk and curb and gutter where needed.
Sign Maintenance
We maintain all of the street signs in the city. This includes stop signs, yield signs, school zone signs, street name signs, no parking signs, and more.
Paint Maintenance
We maintain all pavement markings on city streets and paint markings on new roads. This includes:

Painting Lines on City Streets

Painting Parking Stalls at the Service Center
Waterway Maintenance
We install new culverts and storm drains and maintain the existing culverts and storm drains. We clean gutters and storm drains on a regular basis to prevent debris from clogging the waterways. This is done using street sweepers and vacuum trucks. We also clean rivers, ditches, and irrigation canals to keep water flowing.
Pit Operations
The City of Logan owns an open-face gravel pit that we mine for materials, such as pit run, 1" rock, and 3" rock. This allows us to obtain materials for our road projects at a cheaper price.
