Our Organization
The Collection Team is currently split into three crews of service: residential, commercial, and alternate crews. The residential crew consists of automated collection trucks that empty the 60, 90, or 300-gallon "Black Beauty" garbage cans at homes and small businesses. The commercial crew consists of frontload load and roll-off collection trucks and containers. The special services crew provides some of the recycling collection as well as support services for the other crews.
Container Repair
If you have a slightly broken or damaged garbage, recycling, or green waste can at your home, the Environmental department offers container repair at no additional cost. For minor fixes such as broken or missing wheels, broken handles, rips in the can due to wear and tear, the Environmental Department will come out to your home to fix or replace the container. For questions or concerns, please call 716-9755 to report a damaged can.

The Logan City Environmental Department has contracted with the 19 cities, towns, and unincorporated areas throughout Cache County to provide residential and commercial solid waste and recycling collection. This Team covers the entire 1,165 square miles of Cache County and serves more than 94,000 people.
New automated cans can be picked up at the Environmental Center.
2008 Holiday Schedule
Please be aware that Logan City observes the following holidays and on these dates, the Logan City offices and the Logan Landfill will be closed and there will be NO residential garbage or recycling collection (unless otherwise indicated). Garbage and recycling collection routes will be collected the following day.
Please remember to have cans out on your curb by 7:00 AM.
