Sometimes referred to as a Master Plan, the General Plan of the City is a document that expresses the visions of its citizens for the management of growth and development today and far into the future. The General Plan has its roots in much citizen input and public participation. It describes how the city wants to grow and even what the city should look like.
The current draft (September 2007) of the General Plan Update is available for your review. It is best viewed with high speed internet and by saving it to your computer first. This is done by right clicking on General Plan Update and selecting Save Target As. If you do not have high speed internet, we recommend that you view a hard copy at the Logan Library. Click on the clinks below to view a high resolution copy of the photos that are included in the General Plan Update.
The final Planning Commission workshop will be held on October 25 and the final public hearing will be held on November 8.
The Municipal Council is tentatively scheduled to hold their final workshop hearing on November 6 with their final public hearing on November 20.
