The zoo provides sanctuary to 11 mammal species, a mixture of relaxing reptiles and fish, and over 100 vibrant bird species from all over the globe. Take pleasure in the extensive assortment of tropical birds, upland birds, birds of prey, and over 40 waterfowl species. Watch the playful bobcats scamper. Enjoy the majesty of our nation’s mascot, the bald eagle (a “threatened” species). Listen to the passionate bugle of the massive bull elk.
