Tom Jensen
Tom founded his own architectural practice in Logan in 1980. Architectural Nexus grew to over 180 professionals and became one of the top firms in the region. Tom fully retired from architecture and now works on a limited time basis doing business development for Wadman Corporation.
As a result of Tom’s focus on improving the community, he became involved in numerous community planning opportunities including being Chairman of Cache 2010 Strategic Plan, the Cache Initiative, Envision Cache Valley, the Cache County Library Board and the Logan Downtown Alliance. He also was on the steering committee for the South Corridor Plan and the Downtown Logan Specific Plan.
In addition to design awards, Tom was named the Total Citizen of the Year by the Cache Chamber of Commerce in 1994 and received the Community Service Award from the USU Community Associates in 2007.
Tom’s passion for community planning originated as a college student. He visited many towns where community centers were safe, walk-able and full of vitality. One of Tom’s deepest desires is that Logan becomes this vision.
