Apply for Planning & Zoning Permit
GETTING STARTED
The Planning Department seeks to preserve the past while building an enhanced future by preparing plans to produce a quality community. Planning reviews a variety of projects for compliance with local regulations through a Design Review Process or over the counter permits. Generally, a Design Review Permit is required for most commercial, industrial, and multi-family resident development, subdivisions, public projects and certain types of signs. An over the counter permit may be issued for fences, signs and other minor land use decisions.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET A PERMIT?
- Track 1 Design Review Permits take approximately 2-4 weeks to review
- Track 2 Design Review Permits take approximately 6 weeks to review.
- Over the counter permits can be processed in just a few days.
