 Craig received his B.S. degree in Business Finance at Utah State University in  2001.  While at Utah State, Craig was active in the Utah State Student Alumni Association and served as its Homecoming Chair in 1997. In 2004, Craig graduated cum laude from the Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in law school, Craig was a member of the law review and received CALI Awards in Civil Procedure and Wills and Trusts. Craig also volunteered as an instructor for Clark County Legal Services and worked as an extern for Judge Kathy Hardcastle in Las Vegas and Judge Gordon Low in Logan. Following law school, Craig worked as an associate attorney at Beckley Singleton, Chtd. in Las Vegas. In 2007, Craig became a partner at Daines & Jenkins, LLP in Logan where he concentrated his practice in municipal law, land use, and commercial litigation.  Craig is a licensed member of the Utah State Bar Association. Craig is the chief legal officer of the City and is responsible to the Mayor and the Municipal Council for the proper administration of the legal affairs of the executive and legislative branches of city government.  Accordingly, Craig handles the legal affairs for the various departments, boards, and commissions within the city and is responsible for the supervision and management of the Legal Department.  Craig has been with Logan since 2015.

Mohamed Abdullahi

Mohamed Abdullahi

Mohamed received his B.A. degree in Political Science with an emphasis in American Government from Utah Valley University in 2016.  Prior to attending law school, Mohamed worked for the Utah Attorney General’s Office as a legal secretary and the International Rescue Committee as a caseworker in refugee resettlement.  In 2021, Mohamed graduated from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. While in law school, Mohamed was a member of the Negotiations team and received recognition as an outstanding oralist during both mandatory rounds of the moot court competition. Mohamed completed his law school externship with the City of Logan and between the externship and his time as a graduate certified attorney, Mohamed has been working for the City of Logan since May 2021. Mohamed is a licensed member of the Utah State Bar. Under the guidance and direction of the Mayor, Municipal Council, and City Attorney, provides highly complex and responsible administrative support, legal advice, research, and interpretation of laws, statutes, and ordinances to the Mayor, City Council, and other City administration personnel in assuring compliance with the law and minimizing the City’s exposure to unnecessary risk.

 Brody received his B.S. degree in Industrial Hygiene with a minor in chemistry from  Utah State University in 1998.  Prior to his position with Logan City, Brody worked with owner-controlled insurance policies on construction projects to oversee safety and risk management. Most recently he worked with the Utah Counties Insurance Pool in Salt Lake City where he worked with Utah Governmental Entities to establish safety and risk management programs to reduce losses.  Brody currently holds a Certified Safety Professional designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and his Associates in Risk Management from The Insurance Institutes.  The Risk Manager under the direction of the City Attorney oversees the prevention of injuries to City employees and losses or damages to City assets along with control of incurred losses. The Risk Management Division purchases insurance to protect against catastrophic losses and to provide the necessary protection for City assets. This division actively works with all City departments to prevent losses from occurring by determining hazards and liabilities.  By implementing safety and risk techniques, losses to the City are minimized in frequency and severity.  All claims and losses are investigated and managed by the Risk Manager.

 Kymber graduated, cum laude, from Weber State University, with his B.A. degree in
 Political Science and received his Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young
 University. Kymber is a licensed member of the Utah and California Bar Associations.  Prior to coming to Logan, he served as a Deputy District Attorney in Contra Costa County, California.   Kymber has been with Logan since 1995. Under the guidance and direction of the Mayor, Municipal Council, and City Attorney, provides highly complex and responsible administrative support, legal advice, research, and interpretation of laws, statutes, and ordinances to the Mayor, City Council, and other City administration personnel in assuring compliance with the law and minimizing the City’s exposure to unnecessary risk. With an emphasis on Special Projects and Redevelopment Agency (RDA).

Esli Morales

 Esli received her B.A. degree in English with a minor in General Studies from Utah State University in 2021 and earned a Master's in Public Administration from Southern Utah University in August of 2022. Her job responsibilities include providing various levels of support and assistance to the Logan City Attorney and Assistant City Attorney as well as the  Risk Manager and Safety Officer and to the City Recorder.  Some of her major job responsibilities focus on risk management, insurance, economic development, special events, departmental coordination, records management, city council minutes, etc.  She was sworn in as the Deputy Logan City Recorder in 2020.
