Home Government Mayor's Office Elections Council Candidates Amy Z. Anderson
Citizenship has rights and responsibilities. Rights to express ourselves, to vote, to run for office and to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Responsibilities to stay informed on issues affecting our community, to participate in the democratic process and to respect our laws and the rights, beliefs and opinions of others. I am running for City Council to exercise and respect those rights and responsibilities. I am committed to helping all citizens understand how to stay informed, to listen to their opinions and to work to meet the varied definitions “quality of life” has for each resident of Logan.
During my 13 years in Logan, I’ve been involved in the schools, in community service and in employment at USU and at Sunshine Terrace Foundation. I’ve chaired committees, staffed events, presented community education programs and raised a family. My education and work experience provide the business background needed to keep Logan financially viable. My commitment to this city that welcomed us provides the drive and enthusiasm for service.
