
9-1-1 Director Shelley Peterson
Shelley Peterson was born at an Army hospital in Fort Huachuca, Arizona and was raised here in Logan. She attended Logan City schools and graduated from Logan High in 1992.
Shelley began her career in 911 Communications in Logan in 1994. Since that time she has worked as a dispatcher, training officer, shift coordinator and 911 Supervisor.
During the past 21 years Shelley has taken an active role to ensure the highest level of professional emergency and non-emergency dispatching services are provided to the citizens and Public Safety professionals in Cache County. Since 2014 she has served on the State of Utah 911 Committee where she promotes industry efforts and legislative issues affecting current and future 911 operations.
Shelley earned an Associate’s Degree from Utah State University and holds numerous certifications related to 911 operations. She lives in the Mendon area with her husband and four children.
